This is the wall lining from a bathroom Renovation.
The owner had prepared the bathroom prior to contacting anyone about the work to be carried out.
The house was built in the mid 70's and most definately had Asbestos Fibro in all the wet areas.
As a result of not getting advice, he has possibly exposed himself to Asbestos Fibres.
He was very shocked when he was told of the contents of the fibro.

It has been reported that an American Testing Laboratory discovered Asbestos in the High performance Duct Tape sold in the US.
American laws are not as stringent as Australian Laws and Regulations. So be Careful.

Cigarettes!.
Yep. Smokers were exposed to asbestos when they smoked a Kent in the early to mid 50's.
The filters were made from pure asbestos fibres.

Brake Pads
Some brake pads have Asbestos in them to this day. A lot of the problems are coming from china.
So be careful and ask if they are Asbestos Free.

Roofing Materials
Yes they are the most prolific users of Asbestos. Just about any roof that looks like fibro is Asbestos. Barge Caps, Eaves, Corner Moulds, etc. Just about anything that is used outside your home that looks like Fibro and was installed prior to 1986 contains Asbestos!
At the current removal rate for Asbestos, it will take around 3 Hundred Years to get rid of it from household and commercial premises.
